about: Ghost Funk Horizon is a true labor of love, as weird as that is to say, given the strange nature of the album. But like a David Lynch or Shinya Tsukamoto film, sometimes you have to embrace the strange.

Unfortunately, due to poor decision making on my part, I ended up not liking the mastering that was done, and released the album with my own mastering. I had been listening to the album during production for almost 3 years in different forms, and just couldn't let it go. The result was a very strident and thin sounding release.

After a while, I finally had a neutral opinion about the album. So I listened to the original mastering of the album, which I didn't use, and I realized it was so much better sounding, and retains a lot more of the texture and quality of what I had imagined in the first place.

So presented here is the "remastered" version.

Please check out this album with an open mind and let it take you some place you have never been. It's not perfect, the majority of rapping is straight freestyle, but it's more like a dream, you might only remember a few fragments, but you will remember the feeling for much longer.
