So, I got an iPhone... way later than most people I know... and eventually I found all the music apps, so I bought every one I could find.

I tried them all out, while I was waiting for my car to get a new subwoofer, when I was at the motel with my girl, waiting for a seat at a restaurant, whatever...

Eventually, since I'm a producer at heart, and love making records, I knew I had to turn the stuff into an album. I didn't think much of it at first, I just wanted to do it for me, but it kinda sounded catchy I must admit.

I wrote a press release and sent it out to anyone I could think of that would be interested, and the story got picked up by some great sites, like Matrixsynth, Virtualmusic.tv, Modmyi.com, the list goes on and on. The story went international and also was picked up in major publications across America like the SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, and many other newspapers and magazines.

What I am really happy about is that it inspired a number of people who also have been making music with the iPhone and other "non-traditional" devices, and I love hearing from people doing their own unique musical thing.

I think this album shows that original, fun music can be made with something as simple as the phone in your pocket.
