The Quantum State series is a collection of atmospheric instrumentals I make while exploring new production techniques. I take the most entertaining tracks and group them in collections of eight, and have been releasing these sort of albums now for years.

Making this sort of music to me is like a painter working on sketches. The sketches are on one hand meant to be an instructive tool to explore concepts like shape and lighting, but on the other hand the sketches are pieces of art all by themselves with an intrinsic quality that does not require the relationship to the paintings to be enjoyed. Still, there is the option to enjoy the sketches in context of the paintings, which might provide an even deeper experience than either of the two by themselves.

Ultimately, the process is natural, and the albums just seem to form and release themselves. I hope people enjoy them in any context!
